LeBron James at his first playoff gained triple double, 32 points, 11 rebounce, 11 assists, and became the third one who owned this record followed Johnny McCarthy and Johnson in the NBA League. And that was the answer to his talent that James gave to the public.

LeBron James, the guy who got the MVP of the high school All-Star game for three years continuously, by his talent showing people what was the true leadership on the basketball court. It was known to all that, if no accident, Lebron would be the first one of the NBA draft, and would finally be one of the members of Hall Of Fame.

His height and basketball skills reminded people of Magic Johnson; and his first number of 23 linked him to Michael Jordan. People all had an expectation that James would become another most powerful player after Jordan. And this was waiting the history and fact to improve.

Another surprise to the public was that at that time, Nike Company signed this guy with a 90 million US dollar contract for basketball sneakers. Nike would make himself lose money. In order to develop more value from James, Nike was to produce a shoe for him before the season 2004-05. And it was Zoom LeBron III(third generation of LeBron James Shoes). Although the sneaker did not appear on the Final, the shoe together with James became the focus of the basketball fans.

There are several colorways for the Zoom LeBron III. From the first colorway of white/red, the one consisted fully of Chinese characteristic, to the common colorways of black/red, black/gold, and then All-Star limited version, high school limited version, and they were getting great attention from the public. Although the result did not satisfy people a lot, there is no surprise for people to see the fell of the ranking for Kobe(Zoom Kobe VI) and Lebron. The popularity of each athlete has great something with the wins in their games. In another word, championship is an important element in such a ranking.

We know that in last season, the defending champion LA Lakers was swept by the Dallas Mavericks in the half final of western conference, which has disappointed a lot the public. As a result, Kobe’s influence to the League declined clearly. As for James, since his decision to move to the Miami Heat, his image was considered as in the bottom of his basketball career; together with his unsatisfied performance at the key point of the final, there must be a decline of his influence to the basketball fans.

What is mentionable is that, the point guard of the Bulls Derrick Rose has increased his name to the top 9; and his name will surely go up with this trend. Of course, the result depends on the normal operation of the NBA League.
